USPA NEWS - Immersed in Argentinean culture, the Argentinean tango and contemporary creation, this festival is as much about dance as it is about music, literature & gastronomy, thanks to a host of shows, concerts, balls, workshops and talks. 'Le Printemps du Tango' in Mulhouse will be from 09 to 12 June, 2016.

'Le Printemps du Tango' in Mulhouse will be from 09 to 12 June, 2016.

A press Conference was held at the Ambassy of Argentina in Paris on Friday 29 April in presence of :

- Daniel J. Pepa - Advisor on Cultural Affairs & Press Relations
- Nathalie Birling - Director od rhe Association 'Le Printemps du Tango'
- Ximen Zalaza-Firpo - Artistic Director, Choreograph, Dancer
- Michel Ludwiczak - Director of Artistic and Cultural Projects, Musician.
Was introduced the Third Edition of 'Le Printemps du Tango' in Mulhouse during the period lasting from 09 to 12 June 2016 offering generously a wide range of activities such as : danse, music, folklore, gastronomy, literature, lecturers...

Previously beside the Tango Festival in Mulhouse, the folowing artistic activities are already planned on :

- From 20 May to 12 June : 'Traces Tangueras in Buenos Aires'. Photographies from Ramon Ciuret
- On 04 June, 'Silencio', a group with classical training of the Argentinean Tango from the 1950s
- From 7 to 14 June : Initiation of Argentinean Tango given by Ximena Zalazar Firpo and Wilem Meul of the Estro Company
- On Friday 10 and Saturday 11, MasterClass with Patrice Meissirel and Irène Moraglio
During the 'Le Printemps du Tango' Festival, the following is proposed :

- On 09 June - first part of the evening :

Film screening of' 'Tango, no todo es rock' a documentay of 52 minutes presented by its Director Pedro Lombardi (born in Montevideo, Uruguay and living for the past 30 years in Paris). It is about the intimate and fascinating world of 'Tangueros' and the 'Milongas', constantly reinvented since the 19th Century.

- On 09 June - Second part of the evening :

The day before the Euro Football Tournament, the Festival wanted to give a tribute to the second passion of Argentina. With Cie Equis (Sylvain Beauhamps and Jean Delaval. And the Group Dos Amigos & Co.

- On Friday 10 June at 8.00 pm :

Meeting Tango trough Texts from the famous french writer Colette and some texts talking about Tango. All put into music by Olivier Manoury and Rudi Flores.

- On Friday 10 June at 10.15 pm :

El Cachivache Qinteto - Group created by two passionate people from Argentine and expat in Spain. With a background of a Mix of rock, jazz, blues,those two wanted to revisit their heritage by creating 'El Cachivache Quinteto'. Vito Venturino (guitar), Pablo Montanelli (piano), Negro De La Fuente (bandoneon),Nivolas Franco (violin), Pacha Mendes (double bass).
- On Friday 10 June at 9.30 pm :

'El Fueo de La Vida' a great show revisiting the Argentean folk and given by the Triade Nomade Company.

- On Saturday 11 June from 10.00 am :

Tasting of Argentean food products and Argentean wines.

- On Saturday 11 June from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm :

Mi (ni)longa. Typical dance. Initiation for beginners with expériences dancers.

- On Saturday 11 June at 4.30 pm :

Argentean Folk. Will be given a glance of the Latin American folk music.
- On Saturday 11 June at 7.00 pm :

Born in Argentine in 1957, Daniel Melingo will be giving a concert with Muhammad Habbib (guitar and saw), Romain Lécuyer (double bass), Pedro Onetto (piano), Diego Trosman (Tangera guitar), Anne le Pape (violin), Facundo Torres (bandoneon).

- On Sunday 12 June at 6.00 pm :

Closing : 'Tango Trip', a contemporary play with Ezequiel Sanucci (choregraphy), Lyda Müller and Ezequiel Sanucci (dancers),Simone Giacomini (music), Ayelen Liberona (recording and photos), Rodolfo Vejar (editing and animation).
